Our heart is to see Bryan-College Station become a dwelling place for God, united in Christ by the Spirit, by equipping believers to reach the world.
We exist to glorify God through wholehearted worship, to build up multi-generational and multi-ethnic disciples who go and tell the world the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The name Dwell Church comes from our desire to see Christ dwell in the hearts of His people and where His presence is wanted in our city. In Scripture, the word “dwell” describes the act of settling in or making a home and this captures God’s heart to be present with His people. Paul writes, “so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith” (Ephesians 3:17) and reminds us that “you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit” (Ephesians 2:22).
Our prayer is that Dwell Church would be a community where His presence is experienced, His people are rooted in love, and His gospel reaches every part of Bryan–College Station so that our city would come to know and believe, like Peter declared, that Jesus has the words of eternal life (John 6:68).

We rely on the Spirit in prayer, believing that God’s presence and power are essential in all we do. At Dwell, prayer is not an afterthought, it's the way we live and the power we depend on. We believe prayer invites God’s presence, aligns our hearts with His will, and fuels every step of our mission. Prayer is where the work begins, and it’s through prayer that we see lives, communities, and nations transformed.

The Gospel is at the heart of who we are and all we do. The good news of Jesus, His perfect life, His sacrifice on the cross, and His victory in the resurrection is the foundation that we build on and the message we carry. We believe the Gospel doesn’t just change our eternity but it also transforms our lives here and now, shaping us into disciples who worship Christ, live in community, and go with the hope of Jesus.

The life Jesus invites us into is a shared one. We are created for community, and through Christ, we become a Spirit-filled, multi-generational, and multi-ethnic family united in Christ. We desire to be a church that models authentic relationships, walking with one another through life's joys and struggles. True discipleship happens in the context of these gospel-centered relationships that challenge, encourage, and guide us into becoming fully devoted followers of Jesus.
“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer… All the believers were together and had everything in common.” - Acts 2:42, 44
We want to live on mission with a Kingdom mindset. Jesus didn’t just gather disciples, He multiplied them. At Dwell, we are committed to equipping believers, raising up leaders, and sending people out for the sake of the Gospel. This includes new church plants, missionaries going to the nations, and everyday disciples engaging our city with the Gospel in their workplaces, neighborhoods, and schools. Success for us isn’t measured solely on how many stay but by how many are sent. Our desire is to see God’s Kingdom grow, whether it directly impacts our church or not.
“He gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ.” — Ephesians 4:11–12
We believe children, students, and young leaders are not just the future of the church, they are the church today. That’s why we equip parents as the primary disciple-makers in the home and will create spaces where young people can encounter Jesus, grow in faith, and step boldly into their calling. We aren’t just raising kids; we are raising up disciples who will carry the Gospel to the world.
